lyra this is an amazing little album, as should be expected from rob. it's fascinating to hear something that was recorded way back in 2008 for the first time.

the compositions are all stellar, and I dig the album's distinctive stylistic blend. definitely worth a buy! Favorite track: Nervous Wreck.

Originally recorded in 2008, but remixed and mastered in 2015 after a successful Kickstarter campaign.

"We recorded this album between October 2007 and April 2008 when I was 21. Some of the songs on it were written two or three years before that. As such, some of the musical ideas are perhaps a little questionable, the production's a bit rough around the edges, and the lyrics are - for the most part - atrocious. However, I am fond of it in lots of ways, and I'm thankful to alI the people that parted with their hard-earned cash to make the album release possible.

At one point I considered writing new lyrics; re-recording vocals; overdubbing parts, etc - but I realised there's no point spending months trying to rehash decade-old songs that I no longer have any real attachment to. So instead, I just spent some time polishing and tightening up the original mixes. There are a few new overdubs here and there - but only little bits to try and enhance the production.

l'm quite chuffed with how it's turned out overall. lt's not perfect (by any stretch of the imagination) - but it's done. And that's the main thing. Hope you Iike it."
